Margarita has worked closely with NCDJJDP, performing data analysis on disparities in representation within the NC juvenile system. She also conducted extensive interviews and a literature review that resulted in three recommendations made to the department on ways to reduce recidivism rates and increase community support. She has also worked as a business consulting intern for EY Cyprus. In this role, she worked on projects for the health ministry and tax departments, conducting market research and offering recommendations to improve government efficiency for clients.
Additionally, Margarita has worked as a student intern at NCPIRG, where her passion for public service shone through. She assisted in organizing voter registration drives across her college campus and in revitalizing the organization. She also helped organize food drives during the pandemic for students across campus.
With extensive research experience, a strong academic background, and a deep interest in state policy, Margarita is excited to use her skills to meet and exceed the needs of clients at Electus.
